Role:
fortice are working closely with a large Defence company looking to build out their PCB Design engineering team. Popular among individuals looking for a greater exposure to varied prestigious end clients whilst delivering complex digital projects aligned to the UK’s Defence and National Security capability.
You’ll be designing complex multi-layer (4 – 20 layers) Printed Circuit Boards to be used in commercial, security, aerospace and space sectors, within the Cyber Business Unit, delivering multiple concurrent research, development and production programmes. You’ll be designing PCB layouts for analogue, RF, digital, power, high-speed and highly reliable circuits in accordance with DO-254 if required, and considering security, EMC and TEMPEST implications and rules. With input from Production Test, you’ll have to incorporate test points in the layout to make the PCB testable without comprising the performance required by hardware engineers.
With offices in Greenford, Maidenhead and Gloucester, you will have the opportunity to work in their brand new state of the art facility in Maidenhead in a flexible hybrid manner

You will be working on an interesting range of projects that deliver into National Security and Defence customers and as such, you will need to either hold or be eligible for a high level of UK Security Vetting.

Process:
