Role:

Fortice are working closely with a number of tech consultancies from global businesses to small start-ups looking to build out their Java development teams.  Popular among individuals looking for either a well-established, progression focused organisation or a greater level of autonomy and flexibility whilst delivering complex digital projects aligned to the UK’s Public Sector and National Security capability.

You’ll be joining a passionate, professional and highly skilled team of developers who specialise in agile custom software development and integration at an enterprise scale, developing and delivering some of the most innovative software solutions available for your clients. This will include development of both client and server side software and working on some of the most cutting edge Digital/Cloud-based architectures in development today. You’ll act as a designer and developer on delivery engagements for clients with responsibility for the specification, development, unit testing and implementation of complex multi-tier Applications. You’ll be taking ownership of components and ensuring they are built to agreed standards and on time, plus, providing technical support for transition of the application into live service and support

With sites all across the UK you will have the opportunity to work in the office, on-site or hybrid.

You will be working on an interesting range of projects that deliver into Central Government customers and as such, you will need to either hold or be eligible for a mid-level of UK Security Vetting.
