Managing Director

James leads our values based, purpose-driven collective of high-performing people by challenging recruitment stereotypes and delivering an honest, innovative service. As a father of two young boys, making the UK a safer place and helping to build a prosperous economy are two areas that James is really passionate about and where he uses his skills to make a difference. When James isn’t helping to build secure tech teams you’ll find him at his brother’s boxing gym or chasing a football.

Director & Head of People

Steve has enjoyed ten exciting years identifying, engaging and securing IT professionals for a range of awesome clients. As a proud husband and father, Steve sees his role at Fortice as a means of making the world a safer place for everyone and he is particularly proud of his work with the stellar Fortice team, having invested a lot of energy supporting, training and developing them. Outside of work, Steve loves hanging out with his family and catching waves at the beach.

Alex has spent the past ten years working in tech recruitment, having graduated in Economics and Finance with a further graduate diploma in law.
Alex is a determined, hardworking, family oriented, glass half-full kind of team player who loves rugby, football and running. Alex is most inspired and encouraged when he is contributing to growth or progression, whether it’s trying to beat his own PB or helping a candidate to progress in their career.

Will came to Fortice following his studies in Liverpool. A lifeguard from a young age, Will has always looked out for the interests of others and this is why the contract team at Fortice has grown and flourished under Will’s care. The proud captain of Fortice FC, Will treasures fun with friends and spending time surrounded by the people he loves.

Compliance & Contract Lead

Alessandra came to England having left Italy for a year to learn more about the British culture. Ten years later, her research continues and we are pleased that it has led her to join the Fortice team! Alessandra is extremely friendly and sociable and she provides a truly outstanding level of customer service as a result.

Lead Support Consultant

Ellie has a degree in Maths and a Masters in Logistics and Operations Management and is responsible for the speedy, efficient processes within our contracts team. Having previously worked as a recruitment consultant, and an office manager, Ellie brought a lot of experience with her to Fortice. Ellie loves sports, good food and travelling.

Sarah graduated with a degree in Chemistry and worked in Chemical Sales before coming to Fortice. Competitive, sporty, outgoing and fun loving, Sarah doesn’t sit still for a minute and her action-packed adventures have taken her around the world skiing, scuba diving and volunteering. Sarah brings energy, a desire to succeed and the ability to deliver to the Fortice team.

Peter grew up on a fruit farm in Ireland and then became a professional rugby player, arriving in England to play for Bristol Bears. Unselfish, competitive, approachable and driven, Peter is a consummate team player who loves to build relationships with clients, colleagues and friends and pursue health and fitness in his free time.

Aaron is a sportsman through and through and is highly competitive at work in Fortice’s contract department. As well as having played for Southampton and Bristol Rovers, Aaron won a football scholarship and studied business at university in the USA. Away from work, Aaron is family focussed, values his friendships highly and would like to go climbing.

A Yorkshireman, James came to Fortice after a degree in Sports Science and three years working in Australia and New Zealand. James is a self starter as well as a team player and made a name for himself as the captain of his university rugby club. James is in his element in Fortice’s fast paced, competitive, people focussed environment.

A Yorkshire lass, Georgia loves all things water related and is happiest swimming, sailing or learning to surf. She has sailed competitively and even ran the sailing department at the US summer camp that ‘The Parent Trap’ was based on. Georgia brings a highly informed and calm approach to the team.
